1. Examine the various constitutions in Texas’s history (before 1876) and explain how they helped create the current constitution we still use today (Constitution of 1876).
2. Why does our current constitution (1876) have so many amendments? and also what are your thoughts on the criticisms of our constitution?
3. We have a federal system in the United States. What does this mean? Use your own words to describe the federal system and what it means for Texas as part of the United States. Look at the charts given to you in pages 48-49 of your book to use.
