Read Chapter 6 in your textbook by Carson titled God with Us.
Write a 2-3 page paper evaluating why Jesus spoke in parables.
To achieve maximum points for content and analysis, the following elements need thoroughly addressed.
- Identify and summarize the 3 primary theological reasons for Jesus speaking in parables.
- Discuss the importance of Jesus masking the truths he taught.
- Share some of your struggles and challenges in understanding Jesus parables and how you think Jesus could have done more to make them easier to understand
- Provide at least 3 sources besides the Carson text (any citations to the dictionary should be provided on top of the required 3 sources).
