Need 5 article reviews converted together to form 1 paper and also add in the design and gap given
Basically all that is needed is first combine the 5 rticle reviews at bottom of page into one paragraph formed paper 12 point times new roman APA format 6 pages long. Second just add in the research design provided and thirdly just answer the few critical questions provided. That’s it! in text citations and 7 references at the end.
Here is the design and research question
Research Question: Are substance addicts or users a casual antecedents of the other?
My research design is a experimental one and will include independent and dependent variables. The independent variable would be substance use and the dependent variable would be the presence of BPD. I think by using the research design we can look deeper into other issue’s later on. There are many variables and much that has to be controlled in order to get good results
I
will also use participants in this design. I will most likely use two
groups of people. Each participant will be informed of all research
ahead of time. I also want to account for any ethical issues by simply
providing informed consent for all. I will also use questionnaires as
well. I will also measure the extent to which two variables are related.
If I have a increase in one and that variable tends to be associated
with an increase in the other then I have a positive correlation. I also
want to form a good hypothesis and deduce their consequences. I want to
construct and experimental design that also represents all the
elements, relations and also conditions. I want to also select a good
sample of subjects. I want to form a pair of groups and also identify
and also control non experimental factors as well. I want to construct
and validate instruments so I can measure the outcomes. My GAP READ: An
underdeveloped aspect in the longitudinal associations remains seen in
the article development after a non-significant failure to account for
the temporal stability of each trait. This unexplored section shows that
twin analyses exposed that common environmental factors account for the
relationship between BPD traits and substance use at the age of 14,
while genetic factors account for the relationship at the age of 18.
This unexplored section indicates that, at least in teenage years, the
comorbidity among BPD traits and substance use is a result of common
risk factors. My research question read: Are substance addicts or users a casual antecedents of the other?
Specifically, the following
critical elements
must be addressed:I.Literature Review
: In this part of the project, you will analyze foundational research presented in the course for how the field of abnormal psychology has changed over time, how researchers have designed research to study psychopathology, and how issues of ethics have been addressed historically in the field.A.Summarize the claims made by the authors of the foundational research presented in the course regarding how diagnoses and treatments for psychological disorders have developed. In other words, what claims are made by the research about how psychological disorders are diagnosed in individuals? About how individuals with psychological disorders are treated?
B.Summarize the claims made by the authors of the foundational research presented in the course regarding how
biological, psychological, and sociocultural factors
contribute to the development of psychological disorders.
C.Explain how the view of psychopathology has evolved over the
history of abnormal psychology. Be sure to support your analysis with examples
from research to support your claim.
D.
Explain the conclusions you can reach about research in
abnormal psychology
. In other words, explain what we know about psychopathology,
based on your review of the research presented in the course. Be sure to support your analysis with examples from research to support your claim.
E.
Describe the specific
research designs
used in the foundational research presented in the course used to address research questions. For example, what were the specific methods used to address the research question? What type of research design was used?
F.
Explain how research designs were used by authors to conduct research
in abnormal psychology. In other words, how did the research designs
used by researchers help in conducting research regarding abnormal psychology?
G.
Discuss how
issues of ethics
have been addressed in the foundational research presented in the course. For example, how did the authors
inform the
participants of what the experiment would entail? How did the authors account for any potential risks to participants associa
ted with
the study?
H.
Discuss how issues of ethics in abnormal psychology have been
viewed
historically. In other words, how have issues of ethics in the field been
viewed over time? Has this view changed as the field has progressed? Be sure to support your response with examples from research to support your claims
