US Intelligence is described as having three functions: collection, analysis, and covert action. Which do you feel is most important? Why?
Discussion Question 2:
Multiple missions for the Intelligence Community are described. One is to provide support to Criminal Justice and Regulatory Agencies. This view holds that law enforcement agencies should reciprocate by sharing intelligence at a local level with national intelligence. Some oppose this view out of concern over the protection of intelligence sources and methods. Others feel local law enforcement intelligence could be misused, such as for immigration purposes. Do you agree? Disagree? Why or why not?
