Section 4.2, The Design Argument for God, and Section 4.4, Pragmatic and Subjective Justifications of Religious Belief, philosophy homework help

In other areas of life, we seem to place a high value on reason and objective evidence. For example, the scientific theory that has the best arguments and the most evidence is accepted over one that has little rational support. The politician who has the best arguments for her economic proposals is favored over the opponent who has no reasons for his position. Should things be any different with religious belief? Why or why not? Why would a God give us reason if, as Kierkegaard claims, it plays little to no role in forming our religious beliefs? Your assignment is to write an original response, at least 300 words, to these questions.

*Please note that I am a Christian with strong religious beliefs.
