revision of paper
1. One significant change connected to the structure of your complex claim, the organization of paragraphs in your paper, or the internal organization of one or more paragraphs in your paper.
2. One other aspect of your paper that has been revised, preferably based on our discussion of your paper in conferences.
3. A Writer’s Memo, 1/2 page to 1 page, explaining what revisions you have made and why, as well as anything else you would like to say about the revision process.
Please use this revision as a chance to develop your understanding of complex claims and paper structure. Remember to ask yourself why you have chosen to organize different elements of your paper in a certain way. There are five question for self-reflection that you can improve the paper below.
1. Do the sentences match the roadmap, or organization of ideas, set up by the claim?
2. Does one lead logically to the next?
3. Do the sentences build an argument, using evidence and analysis?
4. Do the sources in each paragraph logically connect to each sub-claim? Does each sub-claim logically connect to the complex claim?
5. Does the organization of the essay accurately reflect the argument being made?

COMPLEX CLAIM paragraph should include stakes, claim, evidence,counter-argument to strongly convince audiences.
EVIDENCE PARAGRAPHS should include sub-claim,evidence and explanation, maybe the counter-argument and stakes to support the main claim. ALSO, each evidence paragraph should be connected smoothly.
