The best example of where I outperformed my expectations in a class was in EMS training. We were taking tests on two or three chapters daily. I had one of the highest grades in the class because I was motivated and driven to learn. This was all exciting because it was new to me. During class I figured out if I wrote it down in class and spoke it out loud to myself later that night while studying I retained the knowledge better. When I didn’t understand I wasn’t afraid to ask questions because everything was new to me. We helped each other as a group but reaching out to the instructors to form study sessions would’ve made our performance better. Usually in a group everyone will have different strengths and weaknesses which will help everyone.
