There will be (1) Journal Exploration Paper. Your assignment will entail finding a research article from within the past 5 years. The article must be on one of the following topics: Engagement, The Development of the Helping Relationships, The Use of Self in Practice, Self Disclosure, or Counselor Bias (either its impact on practice or self awareness.) Prepare a 2 page review of the article including a brief summary of the article, your impressions, what are the implications of the study’s findings to the mental health counseling field, further research that is indicated, and overall strengths and weaknesses of the article. Your paper should also include a properly cited in APA format reference page (the reference page does not count towards your 2 pages).
