I’ve recently graduated and a position has opened up at the Company I work for and I want to apply , but I’m having so much trouble with this cover letter. I know that internal jobs are different and the cover letter has to be worded differently so I need some help. Back History I’ve worked for this company for over two years and I’m a guest service representative applying for the Guest Service Manger position
Below Is what I have so far and I would love some feedback and advice
I am thrilled to be writing you to apply for the Guest Service Manager position with Simon Property Group. I am eager to apply for this position and I believe as a current employee for this company my skills and abilities will enhance the mission and vision for The Shops at Riverside.
I am currently working as a Guest service representative at The Shops at Riverside and I have been working here for a little over two years. I have learned a great deal in this position like being a better communicator and leader.
With no doubt do I know that I could do this job for the past two years I have been the lead guest service representative I managed to start my career here and excel. I’ve assisted my previous guest service manager in any tasks she needed I helped trained new hires and cover the desk when she was absent. For over two years I’ve brought suggestions and contained a high professionalism at work.During these time I’ve helped mall management in anything possibly I’ve assisted to posting events, sales, promotion, and careers on The Shops at Riverside website. I’ve assisted in being a second go to person for other representative for questions or concerns. In 2015 the guest service manager took a leave of absence and in her leave I took the lead GSR assisting mall management with anything they needed.
I have a knack for resolution, a strong critical thinking approach to customer service, believing that there is always an answer or response to a problem, and to always go above and beyond for each guest. I have a proactive attitude that focuses on creating ideas and plans for correcting issues or handling daily tasks. I have received excellent performance evaluations in my current and previous position from my managers in recognition for my excellent customer service, leadership, and dedication to the company.
