Decision-Making/Problem-Solving
This paper requires you to evaluate your own reasoning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Sometimes in life, we approach problems or make decisions based on emotions/impulse, rather than using sound judgment. Not considering all the facts or possibilities in a situation can lead us down the wrong path, so it’s important to approach problems/decisions in a logical and rational manner. Think of a time in your life (past or present) when you faced a difficult problem or decision, then write as follows:
a) Discuss the nature of your problem and its contributing factors.
b) Identify what specific steps were taken to reach your decision or solution.
c) Evaluate the results of your approach and what you would do differently (if anything).
d) Explain why using logic and reason is so important in solving problems or making decisions.
