Choose an author, English Research Project help
I don’t care who it is…..
– Choose an author. This could be someone that writes literature (poems, short stories, novels…) or someone that writes lyrical songs (rap, country, pop, alternative, rock…)
– Research that authors background. Your research should look at the history of their life (personal), the time period that he/she lived in, and the work that he/she created.
– Write a research paper that explains how that author’s background influenced the work that he/she created. – Below are some example thesis statements that should help:
“Bob Marley’s life experiences motivated him to set people free through the lyrics he created and sang.”

“The death of several people that he was close to led Edgar Allen Poe to write literature that was filled with dark images and events.”
