I would like you to choose one work from two different “first generation” feminist artists as your main examples (2 art works total). (Appropriate artists include; Ono, Kubota, Schneemann, Edelson, Mendieta and Sleigh.) Your essay should include a thorough discussion of “essentialism” in relation this artistic movement.
